We formed Queer UP with the understanding that making an impact starts with identifying the foundational systemic problems, and building strategies through actionable practices. We cannot discuss improving representation for marginalized communities without adopting an intersectional approach and the safety to pursue this career without experiencing harm.
In order to create a company that successfully changes the industry’s landscape, we needed to reimagine how a management company operates to avoid replicating the same systems of harm.
